1. Bolt backed out of the rubber bushing that hold up the front of the gas tank and it started to drill a hole into the gas tank. Fixed it with lock tight.
2. Bolt fell off the right rear blinker and it sat there swinging on the wire harness for a couple hundred miles.
3. Bolt fell out of the lock assembly ignition switch. Had to find something at a hardware store to hold that assembly back onto the bike.
4. Crossover pipe clamp was left resting against the kick stand cut off switch shorting it out.
5. Replaced the fuel filter since it was made of a plastic that degrade from the alcohol in the fuel.
6. Clutch cable burned up because it was left laying against the side of the jug.
7. Oil blowing into the airbox and sucked out of the sump because the sump return line check valve was installed lower then the oil level in the sump which caused the oil to back up into the air box which inturn puped oil into my combustion chamber fouling out my spark plugs al the time. I end up having to figure that out myself and correct. 3 trips to the dealership and those idiots could never figure out the issue.
8. CPS burned out.
9. Voltage regulater burned out.
10 headlight and taillights burned out and then part of the wire harnes burned up.
11. Starter motor went bad and now I have damage to the starter ring gear. They tell me the damage is not bad enough to replace that ring gear. They did put a new starter on the bike after taking it back 2 times for the starter issues.
12. Header bolts all end up loose and lost one.
13. The plastic timing cover ears all end up destroyed and had to by a metal chrome one. THat happened because the mechanics must have tighten that up too tight which destroyed those ears.
14. Right side intake push rod jumped off and slid over to one side of the rocker assembly and then wedged itself between the rocker assembly and the tube housing, they had to replace that rocker assembly because it was apparantely tweaked or bad casting or something is what they told me.
15. Had cold start issues and that is somewhat fixed with a new download, which I found out they had available before I purchased the bike. Why they didin't download that before I purchased the bike is beyond me.
16. Replaced the lame spark plug caps which were always working themselves loose and arching.
17. When I changed oil found a big chunk of steel in the oil. The dealership looked at it and can't figure out what that came off of. It's about the size of a pencil eraser. They told me not to worry about it. If it's off something important it should show up down the road.
I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND ONE OF THESE BIKES TO MY WORSE ENEMY.!!!!!
